Fascinating Egypt: A 2500 km Pleasant Trip for Tourists from Different Countries
On March 12, we welcomed a group organized by a major European tour operator to Egypt. Our guests were fifty-two travelers from various countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, Latvia, Germany, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, and others. The tour program was divided into two parts: first, the group explored Cairo and its surroundings, and then the focus shifted to the Sinai Peninsula, specifically Sharm El Sheikh.
The tour program was really eventful. During the first four-day part of the trip, guests immersed themselves in the culture of ancient Egypt and visited globally renowned tourist sites such as the Pyramids of Giza, Memphis, Saqqara, Dahshur, Dendera, and Abydos. They also explored the Egyptian Museum, Old Coptic and Islamic Cairo, and the monasteries of Wadi El Natrun. On the Sinai Peninsula, tourists also had an unforgettable experience of greeting the dawn on Mount Moses and visiting St. Catherine’s Cathedral.
During several days the travelers covered over 2500 km. It’s worth noting that despite a large number of the tour participants, the group traveled in a single vehicle and felt comfortable throughout the journey. The bus Mercedes MCV-600 2023 with sixty-two seats is a new model, which is available not in all countries. However, Old Egypt Travel has this type of vehicle in its fleet and we’re ready to provide safe and enjoyable travels even for large groups of guests.
