This excursion is a great opportunity to go by bus through the bustling streets of Sharm El Sheikh, a famous resort city located on the coast of the warm Red Sea. The city has been one of the most popular tourist destinations for decades, so this tour is a chance to learn a lot of interesting facts about the world-famous resort city and look at it from different angles.

The trip will take you through the well-known sites of the popular resort city in southern Sinai and includes visits to the Peace Square, Al Mustafa (Peace) Mosque, a Coptic church, as well as shopping in some very interesting shops and dinner at a seafood restaurant.

The first stop in the itinerary is the Peace Square. The main attraction of the square is a large metal installation, in the center of which there’s a globe with eight wings pointing to different sides of the world. It reminds us about Ra, the ancient Egyptian deity of the sun. Here you can enjoy a walk among fountains, lawns and flower beds.

The next impressive attraction is the Al Mustafa (Peace) Mosque. You will view its unique architectural ensemble from the outside, as tourists are not allowed to enter. The building is made of white marble in the classical traditions of Islam and has an elegant polygonal minaret. Funds for the construction of the mosque were given by Egyptian businessman Hussein Salem, an ally and advisor to former president Hosni Mubarak who served as the president of the country from 1981 to 2011.

Next, the group moves to the renowned cosmetics store «Nefertiti.» Here, you can learn a lot about the beneficial properties of essential oils and purchase your favorite samples.

In the sales area, you can drink flavored green or hibiscus tea, and choose different cosmetics and perfumes.

Another sight visited during the tour is one of the newest tourist attractions in Sharm El Sheikh, the Heavenly Cathedral. It’s a Coptic church opened in 2008 where traditions of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, as well as Protestantism harmonize with each other. The Cathedral features elaborately painted ceiling and walls, illustrating stories from the Bible and the lives of the saints in a modern manner. It’s the reason why it feels like events in the Bible storyline literally take place here and now with people living nearby.

In the final part of the excursion, tourists will enjoy a seafood dinner at the well-known restaurant «Fares». It’s a break to exchange impressions about what they have seen, after which the travelers head to the final destination on the route, the King Tut museum.
