It’s an adventure tour during which travelers can try different activities and admire the natural wonders created by Mother Nature.

During the «Golden Desert» jeep safari, you can participate in a high-speed quad biking adventure and ride camels, take a walk through a canyon with basalt patterns on the walls, and take underwater photos in the sea lagoon. How about a sandboard ride in the middle of the desert, drinking tea with Bedouins and having lunch onboard a boat? The program of the tour “Golden Desert” is incredibly eventful and interesting.

A transfer from a hotel is made on covered pickup trucks with wooden seats on the right and left sides of the cargo bed. Tourists are transferred to the Nabq Nature Reserve which was declared to be a protected area in 1992 and was included in the Ras Mohamed National Park. The first stop on the itinerary is a Bedouin village where travelers will have traditional tea and learn a lot from the guide about the surroundings and a traditional Bedouins’ way of life.

After that tourists put on helmets, take seats two by two on quads and enjoy the speed and the wind in their faces! Then there will be a stop for taking photos in the desert: it’s a perfect location for taking great pics that will boom any social media.

When memorable photos are taken, tourists change quad bikes to jeeps to enjoy speedy twists and turns taken by professional drivers. After that travelers will have a camel ride in a very picturesque area with the desert on the one side and mangrove groves ending right in the sea on the other. “Golden Desert”  is a tour fully based on contrasts.

After admiring the mangrove trees, travelers will go to the canyon, the slopes of which are a mixture of two rocks, basalt and granite ones. They will have a walk along the bottom of the gorge, which looks very impressive: black basalt looks like it was painted on the rocks with an artist’s brush.

Then tourists will experience the most unusual part of the tour, sandboarding. Travelers will ride a board on the desert dunes, as if they were snowboarding in the snow. The guide will inform tourists about safety precautions and give them wax crayons to rub the back part of boards for better coupling with sand. After that travelers will climb up a dune, take a deep breath and slide down faster than the wind.

After sandboarding in the hot desert, tourists will need to refresh themselves. They will have a boat trip near Tiran Island. Here travelers will be able to go diving or snorkeling. In order to get high-quality underwater photos, the participants of the excursion can contact a professional photographer who works on the boat and has special equipment.

The tour price includes lunch onboard a boat. It will be a pleasant addition to the positive emotions experienced during the jeep safari “Golden Desert”.
