This tour is a great opportunity to explore the famous resort city of Hurghada from another side, which is completely different from the well-known one. The excursion includes a romantic boat trip around Egyptian Venice, El Gouna resort, with islands where numerous luxury hotels, bridges and canals are located.

The tour program also features fascinating snorkeling by the coral reef, a trip on the bathyscaphe, a semi-submarine with panoramic windows, riding a banana or a crazy sofa, so on this tour you will definitely get a hurricane of impressions and positive emotions.

El Gouna is quite a newly built Egyptian resort town, which was founded in 1990 and developed by the company which is managed by one of the richest Egyptian families, its owner is a billionaire Samih Onsi Sawiris.

El Gouna is really a kind of Egyptian Venice since it’s surrounded by twenty little cozy islands with bridges and canals. To make moving around the resort more convenient, a system of boat routes has been made up, though there are also buses, taxis, tuktuks and even a private airport. The only thing that can make guests’ stays at the resort hotels a bit uncomfortable, is the absence of direct access to the beach. Thus, to get to a local coral reef, hotel residents have to use boats.

The banks of canals look different: on one side there are private houses, on the other – dozens of luxury hotels, mostly five-star ones. El Gouna has its TV channel and a city paper. The local security services, which are a private police company, maintain the order.

El Gouna is officially recognized as the most environmentally and socially responsible tourist destination on the Red Sea coast. It’s quite an expensive resort. The main part of a tour to El Gouna is a boat trip along the canals. It’s really beautiful there, the resort looks like an oasis in the heart of a desert.

Visiting Egyptian Venice isn’t the only activity in the tour program. Snorkeling by a coral reef and going to the open sea on a bathyscaphe which is a semi-submarine with panoramic windows in the bottom, provide travelers with a great opportunity to watch the marine life of the Red Sea and take incredible photos without any special underwater photo equipment.

After that it’s time for water activities. Tourists can choose between banana boat or crazy sofa rides or try everything to find what suits their needs better and experience a whirlwind of emotions which will be complemented by delicious seafood lunch.
