Tourists can enjoy snorkeling in the style of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, take a walk along the mangrove alley, and see the Magic Lake. Another interesting stop is the Shark Observatory.

Wonders begin right at the entrance when you see the Gate of Allah. If you look at it from the side of Egypt you can read the word «Allah» in Arabic, while from Israel’s side you’ll see the same word in Yiddish. There is an observation deck next to the Gate of Allah, which offers a wonderful view. Travelers can’t help but take photos of the wonderful surroundings.

The total area of Ras Mohammed National Park is 480 km2, of which 345 km2 is water-covered surface, it’s one of the most beautiful places on the Red Sea coastline. Ras Mohammed impresses tourists from the very first steps.

During the tour tourists will be filled with emotions. A stop at the stunningly beautiful coral location Old reef and a dive in the style of Jacques-Yves Cousteau’s underwater odyssey will be an unforgettable experience! Here you can see a capitaine fish with luminous “buttons” on its skin, toothy bottom devil fish, a frightening moray eel and even watch a dangerous barracuda in their natural habitat. This is a great opportunity to observe what is happening inside the reef and enjoy the view of colorful corals hidden from human eyes under the water column. During the dive, travelers are accompanied by an experienced instructor who carefully monitors their safety.

A visit to a mangrove grove will be a fantasy-like experience. The grove looks fascinating and mysterious with intertwined roots, light and shadow play, and splashing waves. In this unusual grove, you can examine in detail the plants that have an amazing ability to survive in an aquatic environment.

The next stop on the route is a truly unique place called the Magic Lake. The water in this lake is even more salty than in the sea. According to legend, if you plunge into the lake head-first and make a wish, it will definitely come true. This amazing lake was guarded from prying eyes by a mythical dragon for so long that it eventually turned into stone. The stone of an unusual shape is still standing on the shore, allowing travelers to imagine themselves as characters in a fantasy story.

Another fascinating stop on the tour route is the Shark Observatory. Visitors will be able to use special equipment to watch sharks swimming near a large reef which resembles an ancient castle covered with corals and seaweeds.

Ras Mohammed National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place is worth visiting while traveling in Egypt.
