It’s an adventure that you really can’t miss. It’s a whirlwind of emotions and activities that could definitely take a few days. After such an eventful trip you’ll sleep like a baby, dreaming about various things and places you’ve seen and visited during that unforgettable day. These are not just words, it’s a fact!
The excursion includes visiting the well-known Colored Canyon, diving and snorkeling by Pharaoh’s Island, a race against the wind on quad bikes and a slow camel ride, tasting traditional Bedouin jam in the desert and having lunch on board of a boat in the open sea. The program of this tour is really eventful and interesting.
The tour starts in the early morning. Upon arrival at the excursion site, tourists will see real Bedouins who will offer them a cup of traditional tea. While having tea, the guide will tell the group about the culture of South Sinai and the way of life of the tribes that traditionally inhabit these lands.
Then the excursion continues with a quad biking adventure in the desert. Here you can not only get an adrenaline rush, but also admire the panoramic view of the Sinai Mountains. Fans of taking beautiful photos for social media will be glad to know that the tour itinerary includes two stops for taking photos in the desert. The first one is among sand dunes while the second stop is in front of a mountain resembling the outline of a ship.
After the ride, you can relax and enjoy tasting local bread, cheeses and sugar cane jam. If you want, you can ride camels and feel the great difference between a slow camel ride and the incredible speed of a quad bike.
Next, the group of tourists head to the picturesque Colored Canyon by off-road vehicles. This place looks like the setting of a fantasy movie, so it feels like some fantastic creature may pop up from any crack in a rock. Overcoming obstacles, the group goes to the plateau with breathtaking views. Tourists can admire the Colored Canyon behind them, red mountains around them and the endless desert in front of them. At this place, you can fully feel the charm of traveling.
After seeing the rocks of unusual shapes that look like heads of dogs, fish, rhinos, and elephants, tourists on off-road vehicles go to another interesting place, the station called the “White Desert”. It features cosmic landscapes, so it feels like you get to the location where two Universes meet: the red and white ones.
There will be a stop near the cave where, according to legend, the most famous leader of the Bedouin tribe in Sinai was born. There is a panoramic observation deck from which beautiful photos can be taken.
The journey is continued in the port of Taba, from where travelers go to Pharaoh’s Island by boat. Pharaoh’s Island is famous for a citadel built to protect pilgrims heading for Mecca.
A buffet lunch will be offered to tourists onboard the boat. They will also have an opportunity to go diving or snorkeling on one of the most famous dive spots in Egypt. Travelers will enjoy the amazing beauty of coral reefs and see marine creatures with their own eyes.
After the underwater swimming the boat trip is continued and tourists make a stop in the sea, from where the shores of four countries can be seen at once: Egypt and its town of Taba, Israel and its city of Eilat, Jordan and its city of Aqaba, and, finally, Saudi Arabia and its city of Haql.
The tour ends in the port of Taba where the boat will be moored. Before going back to their hotels, tourists will be able to have tea/ coffee and discuss the events of the day.
